I try and write about something else
but it’s all I can think about
sometimes.
It’s just
the sheer idiocy of the situation.
We have this problem, this huge problem,
this problem which threatens each and every being living
in our world,
and we have the solution, the answer is right there
where it has been for decades
and yet
some people, many people, people with power
shut their eyes, block their ears,
run around blindly, shouting lies,
and deliberately derail the train to our salvation.
It’s suicide
and also homicide and genocide and ecocide.
What’s wrong with these people?
